The 2004 Trip to Lille, France

Lille 2004

The tour to Lille took place in July 2004 and provided another weekend of eating, drinking and culture. (interrupted by a concert at this beautiful church on the Saturday Evening!!)

The Festival of the Giants was the main attraction in Lille that weekend, which despite the rain proved to be a bigger draw than our concert. But the small yet enthusiastic audience thoroughly enjoyed John Rutter's 'The Sprig Of Thyme' and Mendelssohn's 'Hear My Prayer'.(more photos)
